Adam Roycraft Day celebrations go "pretty well"
[22nd Nov 29482]

Noise and light flooded the city of Newland last night. But for once it wasn't an alien attack, it was the Adam Roycraft Day celebrations! The party, organised by Newland Council minister "Foosball33" Cross and hosted by GridStream Productions DJ Dynamiks, went on for a limb-aching five hours of non-stop music and dancing.

The event started as planned outside the Neuters 'R' Us bar and immediatly attracted a small crowd of party goers including Coordinator Hydraa of the Advisors of Rubi-Ka and Genetic Manipulator Phlyer. The celebrations became more inense as the party slowly made its way up Adam Roycraft avenue and finally found itself near the west gate to Newland lake, attracting not only a larger civilian crowd, but the attentions of the Newland Militia Guard. The Militia not only enjoyed the party by dancing along with the rest, but also demonstrated their constant vigilance, keeping a watchful eye out for wrong-doers and acting swifty to intervene on the couple of occasions they spotted trouble-makers. Scores of excited people took part in competitions run by the GSP DJ, which reached incredible heights with prizes ranging between 10 and 50 million credits.

It was a time to relax. With people still wearing protective armour and weapons it seemed obvious that they were grateful for the excuse to take a break from the hectic Rubi-Ka life. Many even brought their pets along for the fun; from minibrontos to slayerdroids, from metaphysical demons to leet pets still dressed up in hallowe'en costumes.

"I have to say it's going pretty well," said event organizer Foosball33 during the celebrations, pictured left. "Dyna throws a good party. Moving the party up Roycraft was pretty good. And there was this trox crowd riding, you dont' see that every day."
